Aged 87, Les was ordered by his daughters to stay indoors at the beginning of the lockdown. They each took it in turns to deliver him food, leaving it at his front door. Now he is happy to be out in his allotment again, planting his broccoli seedlings. At his age Les was deemed most vulnerable. I was curious how he navigated the need to protect himself versus the need to socialize in his allotment community.
