Nancy Conley Pinkerton

About me

Nancy is a Canadian-born, Scottish-based artist with a background in painting, drawing and mixed media. She was introduced to photography while studying Fine Arts at Mount Allison University in Canada and she became fascinated by the power to create unique and imaginative images through lens distortion, slow shutter and portraiture. In recent years, she has become interested still life levitation photography which provides a platform to use her artistic skills to convey concepts, ideas, and stories. She often use objects that she has made or customized. Her practice in other art forms has always gone hand and hand with her photography with one influencing the other.
