About me

I come from a fairly arty family, lots of painters, crafters & makers, and I too have always been drawn to creative arts. Like many people my early career started in industry, but a few years ago I decided to follow my passion and give up a well paid London job to train at London College of Communcation (University of Arts of London). Since graduating I haven't looked back and feel fortunate to have been able to follow my passion full time. I love to photograph people for companies, magazines, websites and food for magazines and restaurants, blogs, boutique B&B's and chefs. Anything can inspire me; beautiful flowers, an ingredient that I am buying to cook a meal or the landscape on a frosty morning walk. I also do a bit of print making, screenprinting and etching and this often fires my imagination. I take great joy in photographing people; bringing out their personality, humour and spirit in my pictures. It's also been said that I have a knack for making people feel comfortable in front of the camera. Perhaps that’s a genuine affinity with my clients and desire to make them look their very best. Whatever the reason, I'm never happier than when I'm behind the lens. Addicted to Haribo and newbie Beekeeper.
