Tina Korhonen

About me

Tina Korhonen (Tina K) is a Finnish portrait, music and editorial photographer, best known for her work with rock musicians including Kiss, Motorhead’s Lemmy, My Chemical Romance and Bonnie Tyler.

Tina photographs commissions for major record labels and instrument brands as well as fashion labels. Her work has featured internationally in publications such as Rolling Stone and Classic Rock, and she has been a regular photographer for Kerrang, New Musical Express and Finland’s most popular newspaper, Helsingin Sanomat.

In addition to main interest, location and studio photoshoots, Tina has considerable experience in corporate photography and large scale events, from awards ceremonies to festivals and weddings. Tina also gives lectures and talks for photography students and enthusiasts.

Alongside her commercial work, Tina is currently working on a project with the working title ‘Behind The Scenes’. She has held photography exhibitions in the UK, France and Finland, including a five-month long exhibition at Gibson Guitars’ showroom in London in 2016. Tina was a nominee in the Hundred Heroines campaign and for Best Photographer at the Heavy Music Awards in 2018.

Tina’s photography has been described as colourful, eye-catching and vivid, both in style and subject matter. She uses Nikon cameras, and occasionally the Hasselblad in her profile image. Tina K’s online print shop launched in 2020 featuring a selection of her most iconic music portraits.
