Jana Ašenbrennerová

About me

Jana Ašenbrennerová is a Czech photojournalist and writer currently based in between San Francisco and Prague. She specializes in social documentary and portraiture. Jana is passionate about storytelling, capturing emotions and intimate moments. People and connection are the center of her work. In collaboration with nonprofit organizations (NGO), she documents humanitarian efforts all over the world. Jana is an explorer at heart and dedicates portion of each year to travel photography. In summer she leads National Geographic Student Expeditions, teaching photography and storytelling. She freelances for a variety of publications worldwide.
