Hello
I'm Svenja Block, a German classic/timeless black and white analog lover who switched to photographing digital in 2012. My passions are (but not limited to) live music, promotional artist, portraiture, urban, and minimalist, conceptual landscape photography. I'm a published rock n' roll photography book author, working as a photographer for award winning UK music and counter culture website Louder Than War. In 2017 I received a nominatation as best live music photographer in the UK Heavy Music Awards Longlist - my art has been exhibited in London & Liverpool. Other musical related work has been featured in Vintage Guitar Magazine, LA Weekly, and Vive Le Rock Magazine to name a select few. I've been working as an official photographer for Camden Rocks Festival in London 2017 - 2019 and relocated back to my hometown of Berlin in 2020.
